Program Delivery Options

We partner with clients to enhance how individuals and teams in their organisation communicate and collaborate to optimise safety, efficiency and reliability.  Program content ranges from minimally customised versions of our established programs, to entirely custom.  Delivery options include online, onsite and hybrid modes.

The majority of our custom programs integrate initial content with continued learning programs and additional/advanced modules to further address  specific needs of the organisation.

Optimising safety, efficiency and reliability often requires an integrated approach to developing individual, team and organisational capabilities in work organisation, planning and execution.

Why choose a custom program?

Our custom programs focus on building aligned organisational teams who learn together.

Our Impact

SLSM Program

Having experienced a number of serious safety incidents, Tronox, a leading a Global mining and mineral processing company initiated a 4-year operational and safety improvement strategy to deliver on their vision of safe, quality, low cost, sustainable tonnes. A central pillar in their SHEQ strategy was to enhance the capabilities of their SHEQ Professionals as well as the operational safety capabilities of their frontline leaders. They partnered with us and over a 2-year period more than 300 leaders completed the SLSM program. The organisation then experienced their best safety and operational performance at sites where a critical mass of leaders had gone through the program. Other benefits included a strengthening in the relationships, partnering and alignment between the SHEQ team and the operational parts of the company.

SLSM Program

Link Alliance comprised seven local and international companies working together to deliver Auckland’s City Rail Link project. There was a need to introduce consistent operational safety standards and as part of the actions to achieve these, Link Alliance partnered with us to enhance the safety leadership capabilities of their frontline leaders through the SLSM program. Over an extended period, groups of Link Alliance leaders joined consecutive public programs. This resulted in the emergence of a shared operational safety language, shared values and clearly understood performance expectations which were then further reinforced as each subsequent cohort returned to the workplace. After completion of the program delivery, operational and safety performance continued to improve as the tools introduced through SLSM gained even further traction.

Seadrill

Seadrill are a leading global deepwater drilling company with a vision to set the standard in drilling. In 2022 they partnered with us to develop and deliver a program to further develop offshore leadership. A successful pilot of the SLSM program was delivered to the crew of two rigs while deployed on drilling operations in the Gulf of Mexico. The six module Shared Supervision program was developed based on crew feedback to provide a focused action learning experience to ensure safe systems work are always collaboratively developed, implemented, and monitored. This program has been delivered to leaders in Brazil and Angola and is now being rolled out throughout the fleet, together with a Continued Learning program that embeds and sustains improved operational and safety performance. In 2023 Seadrill expanded the training to some of their onshore and offshore safety teams via the EOSP program, enhancing their ability to enable, reinforce and embed learnings from the Shared Supervision program.

Ferrovial

Ferrovial is an international construction and infrastructure leader with a track record of success in the design, construction and operations of mega projects.  Operating in high-risk environments in a constant state of flux with significant temporary workforce elements creates a unique safety leadership challenge.  Ferrovial partnered with us in 2022 to develop the frontline leadership element as a catalyst for improving operational and safety performance.  The Shared Supervision program has been successfully delivered in several languages to frontline leaders throughout the Americas and Europe and has become one of the key building blocks for Safety Leadership in Ferrovial.
